'Doc' Buttermore's experience covers a period of 33 years, starting as a Shop Superintendent with U.S. Trailer Company in New Hudson, MI in April 1974. During his sixteen years of employment, he acquired the knowledge, skills, and desire to venture into a partnership with his associates, manufacturing their own line of custom trailers.

In 1991, he went into partnership and formed Trailer Technologies, Inc. As an owner and Vice President of Operations, he designed each of the trailers that were manufactured for their customers.

During the time span of ten years, he was able to design and build trailers to the customers' specific needs and desires, turning their ideas into reality, even when others said it couldn't be done. The many types of trailers built included auto haulers, exhibit trailers, car racing teams, medical procedures, first response vehicles, luxury living, military projects, concession stands, and several private need units like golf simulators and mobile training rooms.

In August 2004 Phoenix Trailer & Body was formed. Many of our customers today are repeat customers because we have proven to the industry that their needs and wishes can be met. In itself, this says more about our quality and experience than we could ever say ourselves. We are proud of our work, and the repeat business we get from our customers says more about our quality than we could ever say on our own.

The employees at Phoenix Trailer & Body have an average of ten years' experience, and have followed Doc loyally throughout his career and grown with him, building a quality product that we AND our customers can be proud of.
